About: After her debut album "Yalalalli" (previously released on PirateBeirut) Rima Khcheich releases "Falak" accompanied by the Netherlander jazz musicians of the Yuri Honing Ensemble, among who the renowned double bass player, Tony Overwater. The album "Falak" is the perfect incarnation of the theory according to which a successful fusion shouldn't spoil nor even alter the spirit of the traditions involved in it. Since words must say it, it is rigor, charisma, virtuosity, and a genius mix between creativity and faithfulness, that best qualify the art of Rima Khcheich - the almost unique representative of the Lebanese and Arab quality music, since Feyrouz.
