About: Meen is a Lebanese rock band with a twist. The band was founded by Fouad and Toni Yammine, the warped minds behind the quirky lyrics and catchy melodies. They hold the noble mission of promoting Lebanese rock music as their main objective, followed by other worthy goals such as getting rich and impressing lots of chicks. This is a live recording of the concert they had in May 2009 at Tournesol theatre Beirut.

This was the saddest 10 $ i ever spent. The whole album is unoriginal. If i can go back in time i would have totally downloaded the album here!!!!!

how is the album not original? all songs, except jongar, are written by MEEN and the yameen brothers. Plus meen is releasing the music in CC, you can just go to their website and download the songs from there, nobody asked you to buy the album if you do not appreciate the songs. and why would you want to download the songs anyways if you don’t like them?

Samer, if the band bothers you that much, you should stop stalking them (which you probably are doing out of jealousy), and let their thousands of fans all over the world enjoy them :-) What a hater! They sounded amazing on LBC, and their last concert in Nova was the best rock concert I ever attended.

Fouad Yammine is such a pain in the butt WHAT A MEGALOMANIAC as if he reinvented music WTF?!!!!. I hate copy cat “artist”, why can’t they do something more original like Mashrou3 Leila? ALl the songs sound alike on the meen album. Silly is a very polite word to describe their lyrics and themes.

Meen’s music is so special, ma3leish. How dare you call them copycat artists? We need more talents like these guys. They are witty, smart, fun, deep, and most importantly, friendly and respectful. And I cannot stop listening to their amazing music and songs. LOVE YOU MEEN!
Thanks Meen for the amazing music. I usually never ever listen to arabic music but you guys are something else! This album has been playing for a long time now and I never ever get bored of it. The lyrics are so witty and the music is so energetic! I did not buy the original cd yet, but I will as soon as i come to lebanon. And we want more songs!!!!!!!!

I didn’t delete the zipped file when I downloaded it at work last week, took it home on the weekend where it worked perfectly fine after unzipping it with WinRar.

All visionaries are criticized by their community only to be regarded with pride and admiration in given time, look at Van Gogh, at David Bowie, at Joan Jett, only to name a few. MEEN is a Lebanese phenomenon that needs to be reckoned with.
It’s a pitty that narrow-minded attention seekers have to come and ruin such a work of art.
