About: Filmmakers Joana Hadjithomas and Khalil Joreige describe their movie ‘A Perfect Day’ as “a film of moods, sensations and strong situations, in the fascinating and contradictory city that Beirut is today”. The soundtrack is a faithful reflection of the movie, and brings together Beirut’s alternative underground scene (The Scrambled Eggs, Soapkills) and mainstream pop music (Elissa, Saïd Mrad, Fady Ferraye). It has received the Best Soundtrack Award at the Festival des Trois Continents in Nantes (France).
